Dr. Gail Weingast, Preparing for the Medical Field

April 17, 2019

The path to becoming a medical professional is a long one. Dr. Gail Weingast began by attending Jackson College, Tufts University, in Medford, Massachusetts. This was her first step towards preparing for her future medical career and while the step one took place in 1969, she wouldn’t receive he medical degree from Boston University’s School of Medicine until 1976. During these years, she attended multiple schools and earned multiple degrees that would all lead her to the place that she is at now. This long road prepared Dr. Gail Weingast for her residencies and fellowships which eventually led her to become a radiology specialist at William W. Backus Hospital.
